Me and JONNY had the idea of creating a blog based on the things we loved in the hope of finding other like minded people. After a tireless effort from Jonny, this blog now exists, it is called DANKE CHIEN, and it is lovely. Opening posts include some brilliant short stories by Daniil Kharms and how HBO create their idents. Yesterday I made a group of people guess how long a minute was (no counting aloud), the closest was Rachel with 1:00.01, and the worst was 0:31.07 - but they shall remain nameless for fear of ridicule and embarrassment. From these guesses I was able to calculate the average length that people thought a minute was, which was 52 seconds. Below is a timer that incorporates this 'New Minute' (It's not apparent until after the first 52 seconds).

So Chris, Brittany and I (WTandG) have finished the first colour of the first illustration at MPC and its looking lovely (See .GIF below). Also we were in this weeks Design Week magazine which were nice, to read the article online click HERE, although I strongly recommend buying it and cutting out the article and sticking it on your wall/body.

Bit late notice but WT&G will be exhibiting GO SCAN YOURSELF again tomorrow at Electrowerkz in Islington. It's a night of bands, djs and installations called 'I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night'. We are sorting out things like twitter, facebook, flickr and that jazz so stop asking.

I just had to do a couple of briefs in 10 days to generate final year project ideas. A couple of things that came out of the 10 days was a clock and a zine. The first being an entirely man powered clock (30 people to power it properly), the second a zine designed using a process that I've coined Aleatoric Design. Here is a demo of how the clock numbers change.

Recently I helped JULES make some chairs for the premier of the film THE AGE OF STUPID which screened on Sunday 15th March. It was the greenest film premier ever - solar powered; in a tent; nobody could fly etc. The brief was to make 10 chairs using thousands of recycled newspapers. Here are some images.
